Description
Abstract: The application of machine learning methods in the identification of various plant species aims to automate and increase the accuracy of classification processes. The main approaches in the field are presented, including the use of deep learning algorithms, such as convolutional neural networks (CNN), for processing and analyzing plant images.
The process of data collection and preparation, including the creation of training sets of images, their annotation and pre-processing, is described. Various characteristics used in the identification are considered. Recommendations are given for the use of additional models for the identification of complex models.
