Description
When configuring temporary or hastily built, field or other computer networks, it is necessary that they meet all modern standards and requirements for computer networks and for cybersecurity when connecting to the Internet. This study proposes an approach for designing, configuring and setting up a firewall for a computer network, built and configured on the basis of a Raspberry Pi single-board computer and free software. The basic configuration and operation with the various functionalities of the Intrusion Prevention System are described in detail. The application of the proposed solution is possible both for training and research in laboratory conditions and for permanent operation and monitoring of the system by specialists in real conditions and continuous operation.
