and creates business content. Since a large part of communication processes are carried out online and physical
interaction between people decreases, the opportunities for unregulated use of ICT technologies are increasing.
This communication connectivity through computer networks, software platforms, social media and mobile
devices creates prerequisites for cyberbullying in the workplace. The publication has conducted a preliminary
study on the impact of cyberbullying in an online environment and the consequences for the emotional and
psychological state and health of people. Small and medium-sized high-tech enterprises on the territory of three
large cities in the Republic of Bulgaria were studied, using a quantitative approach in the development of an
online survey through which empirical data was generated. Based on the results, an analysis of the manifestation
of cyberbullying was conducted in order to identify its impact and consequences for the human factors in a
working environment.
