Description
Modern enterprise infrastructures combine directory services, server operating systems, and database platforms, which significantly expand the attack surface and complicate security assessment. Manual reviews are often time-consuming, inconsistent, and difficult to reproduce across different environments. This paper presents an academic framework for automated vulnerability assessment in heterogeneous enterprise infrastructures using PowerShell for Windows/Active Directory environments and SQLPlus for Oracle Database environments.
The main contribution of this work is a unified cross-platform methodology for automated security assessment across both operating system and database layers, which can support internal audit, compliance validation, and continuous vulnerability monitoring in complex enterprise environments.
