Description

The subject of the article is the theoretical and methodological aspects of business project management as a proven effective tool used by companies from the industrial sector to respond to the dynamic internal environment. The report analyzes the principles and approaches to business project management and the construction of effective project teams, combining management knowledge and specialized expertise. Some arguments are given, emphasizing the importance of business project management for increasing the competitiveness of the industrial enterprise and the transition to Industry 4.0. In modern conditions, the activities of industrial enterprises are strongly influenced by the rapidly developing information and communication technologies, the high level of uncertainty in the external environment, the behavior of competitors and the globalization of markets. The resulting innovation processes at the macro level are wide open, global, interdisciplinary and encompass a wide range of participants, which necessitates the implementation of project-oriented models of management of innovative activities in industrial enterprises. In response to the challenges of the time, companies are actively seeking opportunities to develop their innovative potential, increase their competitiveness and technological modernization. The implementation of European projects can significantly accelerate the transition of the enterprise to the concept of Industry 4.0 by providing access to modern technologies, innovative practices and strategic support.
