Description
Abstract: Catholyte is an aqueous solution with an alkaline reaction, obtained from the electrolysis of water, by separating the alkaline fraction. During the electrochemical process, the chemical properties of the water change, with a clear distinction between two types of water fractions - catholyte or alkaline fraction and anolyte or acidic fraction. During the process, the two fractions are galvanically separated by a membrane, with the catholyte being obtained at the cathode. The application of such water is significant worldwide, as it is believed to have biological activity, but there is not enough scientific evidence for its effect.
This article describes a methodology for monitoring, through remote monitoring methods, the germination and development of major field crops, treated with catholyte water. Based on specialized software for a polarizing camera, the parameters of the development of the embryos over a certain time interval were determined. The results obtained were interpreted graphically.
