Description
This study presents a methodology for analyzing vehicle braking deceleration and the efficiency of braking systems. Using measured skid marks and the physical characteristics of the road surface, the actual deceleration and the efficiency coefficient are determined. MATLAB-based interactive and 3D visualizations enable dynamic evaluation across different speeds and braking distances. The proposed method is applicable to road traffic accident investigation, road safety assessment, and engineering optimization of braking systems under various road conditions.
