Description

A review of modern methods for organizing and conducting rescue operations in water bodies is made. The methods are improved using artificial intelligence (AI) to support rescue divers in underwater operations for searching and rescuing victims in accidents. Modern technologies for processing data obtained from sonar systems, video streams and sensor information are considered. Machine learning algorithms are also presented to improve the accuracy of detecting underwater objects in order to reduce the time required for detecting and extracting victims. It has been proven that the use of AI improves the efficiency of operations, reduces risks to the life and health of divers and shortens the search time.
