Description
With the development of information technology, the process of project management in different areas of the economy has changed. Very often, new approaches use combinations of familiar, established project management methods to respond to .
This article examines an approach to project management using a combination of the PERT method and evolutionary algorithms. The goal is to improve the estimate of the possible time required to complete the project. With the PERT method, you can find the critical path of the project, with all critical activities. pessimistic, most likely and optimistic. The project is represented as an acyclic graph in which the tasks are placed in the nodes, and the edges give the connections between them. Each task is assessed with the three PERT assessments . The result of applying the combination of the two methods is a reduction in the length of the critical path, i.e. the time to complete the project.
