Description
One of the main indicators of the manufactured parts quality and the efficiency of the technological processes in mechanical engineering is machining accuracy. During the machining process, errors of various nature occur, which can lead to deviations from the specified dimensions and geometric parameters. This requires the implementation of modern approaches to controlling and managing the machining process.
The paper presents a model for complex reduction of the dimensional errors arising in the process of turning both from random and systematic factors. No specialized sensors are needed in the machine to implement the method. In result of applying control over the workpieces and the machined parts, a computer system, using a database of mathematical models of the process, controls the CNC system of the machine.
