Description
At present, data on the influence of boroaluminizing on the mechanical properties of steels are scarce and contradictory. This publication presents a mathematical model for determining the strength characteristics of medium-alloyed quality steel and their influence on the technological characteristics of the boroaluminizing process (saturation times, quenching and tempering temperatures). Based on the mathematical model, graphical relationships for Rm, R0.2 and A5 as a function of the technological characteristics of the boroaluminizing process have been developed.
