Description

This study examines the role of eco-leadership and Green Human Resource Management (Green HRM) as key drivers for strengthening environmental security and the resilience of critical infrastructure. In the context of increasing environmental risks, climate challenges, and the growing need for the protection of natural resources, organizations responsible for managing critical infrastructure face the necessity of integrating sustainable management practices and innovative leadership models.
The research analyzes the concept of eco-leadership as a managerial approach aimed at aligning organizational strategic objectives with the principles of sustainable development and environmental protection. Particular attention is paid to the role of Green Human Resource Management as a strategic tool for developing an organizational culture oriented toward sustainability, environmental responsibility, and effective human capital management.
The study also focuses on the development of green competencies, employee motivation, the emergence of “green jobs,” and the importance of training and organizational development in building sustainable management systems. In this context, the contribution of the human factor to enhancing the resilience of organizations responsible for critical infrastructure is examined, particularly in situations involving environmental risks and crises.
The paper concludes by identifying key challenges and best practices related to the implementation of eco-leadership and Green Human Resource Management, offering recommendations for the development of sustainable policies and managerial strategies that contribute to strengthening environmental.
