Description

This article examines the applicability of the criminological “broken windows” theory in the context of military organizational behavior and the maintenance of military discipline. It analyzes the conceptual relationship between this theory and the phenomenon of the “normalization of deviance,” substantiating their complementarity in explaining the processes of disciplinary erosion within military organizations. The study further explores the mechanisms through which the tolerance of minor violations gradually erodes organizational culture and creates an environment conducive to more serious breaches.
