Description
Depopulated regions exert a direct, profound, and multidimensional negative impact on national security. Reducing such “demographic deserts” through their revitalization and resettlement requires governments to implement a complex set of measures that demand substantial resource investment. This report demonstrates how graph theory can be applied to analyze the demographic connectivity of regions, with the aim of improving it and reducing the number of areas with critically low population levels.
